Gas blending is essential for safe breathing underwater. On the SSI Gas Blender programme you will learn the knowledge, skills and concepts
required to safely blend nitrox gas mixtures and helium-based trimix gases.
This non-diving course can be taken by certified and non-certified divers. It teaches
the proper use of mathematics, gas blending software and physics along with the correct techniques to safely blend breathing gases for recreational and technical
diving.
When you complete this programme you will earn either the SSI Nitrox Gas Blender certification of the SSI Trimix Gas Blender certification. You can always
upgrade. Start the course online today.

What's next?
Become a Gas Blender (Nitrox / Trimix) and understand more about deco gases and learn how to safely blend nitrox and trimix in our state of the art compression room.
Why not learn to dive on a rebreather to extend your diving times and minimise your decompression obligation.
Where can I learn to dive on a rebreather?
You can learn to dive on an eCCR SF2 rebreather here at Lanzarote Dive Centre. Not sure, then why not book a rebreather try dive on the SF2.
